Deep Space is a PVP space zone, you will become overt (Special Forces) when you enter this space.

This Location can only be gotten to by going to a Rebel / Freelance / Imperial Space Stations, and not just any Rebel or Freelance or Imperial Space Stations. You may travel to your factional space station located at:

Freelance: Deep Space station at Space Station in Dathomir Space

Imperial: Deep Space station in Endor Space

Rebel : Deep Space station in Dantooine Space

To go to deep space approach the appropriate space station, and /comm with it. One of the menu options should be go to kessel or go to deep space.

There are no specific quests or missions on DS. It is a pure PvP area at the moment but you can perform several interesting tasks overthere:

1) Imperials may destroy the Rebel Station which is strongly armed.

2) Rebels may destroy the Imperial Star Destroyer, strongly armed as well.
ISD and Rebel Station do not drop any special loot, it is a shame, but 10,000 to 15,000 credits and 33 GCW points (poor GCW considering the risks overthere).

3) Large Tier 5 looting runs. Tier 5 sometimes drops good level 6 to level 10 components. You will eventually need to loot there for your Reverse Enginering projects. Tier 5 looting can be done at Kessel also.

4) You may participate in the several PvP events in several Galaxies or just flying there for patrolling and destroying other players.
